It’s supposed to be cold out there tonight. So bundle up and head downtown for this fine double shot of music.

Ann Bond

At the early hour of 7pm, long time Now I’ve Heard Everything favorite Julia Haltigan will once again play a show as Ann Bond.  Here’s what Julia has to say about it:

I’m very excited to share with you a fun side project I’ve been working on as my alter ego, Ann Bond! Some of you may know that I’ve been singing in the off broadway hit, Sleep No More. Crooning jazz standards is a ball and I’ve been inspired to develop the fun further bringing it back to prohibition era all the way through the late 50’s early 60’s. Performing as Ann Bond feat. Luther & The Missing Lynx, should inspire you to dust off your Henry Mancini records, order a dirty martini, bang the bongos and cha cha cha til you drop. Slip into something slinky, release your inner party animal and come misbehave with us.

Dina Regine Rockwood 4-22-15

Then it’s time to travel north and east to The Sidewalk Cafe at 6th Street and Avenue A to catch Dina Regine.  If it’s too cold to walk, just grab a cab.

Dina is a a photographer, a DJ and a musician.  Recently, she released a wonderful record, titled Right On, Alright.  That record is full of brand new songs that harken back to mid-60s rock, pop and soul.  Those songs are not slavish imitations, but heartfelt rechannelings brought into the present.

Tonight, at 8:30pm, Dina will be playing a short solo set of some of her songs, old and new.  If you’ve already heard Right On, Alright, you’ll no doubt want to be there.  If you haven’t, take this opportunity to discover this great NYC artist.
